Association of the Russian pharmaceutical manufactures (ARPM) was established in 2002 as a non-commercial partnership bringing together leading Russian pharmaceutical companies.

  Currently the ARPM unites about 20 pharmaceutical plants which are situated in all Russian regions: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, the Urals, Siberia and the Far East. Their share in the market of domestic medical forms (tablets, suspensions, ampoules, aerosols, mixtures etc.) in Russia makes more than 50 percents. Our enterprises completely meet international pharmaceutical standards (Good Manufacturing Practice) and produce not only generic drugs but also the original branded medicaments.

  The priority tasks of the ARPM are:

- to render assistance in providing the population of Russia with modern, high-quality and accessible medicines

- to express interests of Russian pharmaceutical industry in relations with state legislature and executive authorities

- to implement the program aimed at substitution import drugs with domestic products

- to develop and introduce measures contributed to the promotion of products of Russian pharmaceutical companies in the internal and external markets

- actively to resist the spread of counterfeit and faults medicines and illegal circulation of drugs on Russian market

- to implement high technologies and the world quality standards in Russian pharmaceutical industry

- to support scientific researches in medical and pharmaceutical industries and to introduce scientific achievements and innovations in practical activities of pharmaceutical manufacturers

- to develop the system of preparation and retraining of specialists for pharmaceutical industry

- to participate in creation of model of joining the World Trading Organization (WTO), supposing preservation and development of Russian pharmaceutical industry

  The ARPM actively cooperates with Russian Ministry of Health and social development, Federal service of control of public health and social development. The ARPM is the member of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  The ARPM publishes a regular journal «The Pharmaceutical Industry» on which pages one can find out the current events and changes in Russian pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries.

  The ARPM mission is to construct the civilized pharmaceutical market in Russia based on following principles:

- fair and free competition

- promotion the interests of domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers

- consumer rights protection

- integration the domestic pharmaceutical industry in the world market.
